For everyone wondering what the whole 6 week challenge and "the catch" is, allow me to break down my experience for you! I want to first start by saying that the trainers and community are very good and this is NOT personal training, but group workouts. Cindy was an amazing trainer and was my favorite, she is motivated, energetic and will work you! I was on a bulking challenge to gain 10% weight and attend twice a week. You will meet with Jon the owner and be REQUIRED to put down a $500 deposit if you want to continue and be told you will get it back if you succeed (Good luck getting it back!). He will also say you will have the option of applying it to a membership at the end but if you ask for the price he will say he wants you to stay focused on passing the 6 weeks and not tell you. I knew something was off when his voice croaked asking "do you want one of the last spots?" Halfway through the challenge you will meet with Jon again, who will attempt to pressure sell you on a "discounted" membership ~$1,500 on top of your $500 deposit if you sign up RIGHT NOW. He will use the phrases "I'm a numbers guy, and the numbers show you won't make weight" and "I dont want you to lose your deposit, do you really want to roll the dice?" And of course "you wont get this offer again" I was 1/2 to my goal weight and 1/2 through the 6 weeks. You don't have to be a numbers guy to do the math. I eventually had to excuse myself from all the sales tactics he was trying to push on me when he said "if you don't care about losing the deposit then money isn't an issue for you, so why don't you just pay it?" Really?! He apologized later but I had lost respect for his business practices. In the end I made my goal weight but was texted that I failed and lost the deposit because I didn't attend 18 sessions which =3x a week, when I was told 2x a week was sufficient to succeed! Oh, and he also said I could put my deposit towards a membership again!
    Ask yourself these questions
1.) Can I realistically lose 20 pounds or gain 10% of my weight in 6 weeks?
    2) Can I make 3 workouts a week?
3)Do I want to be pressured into spending $2000 dollars?
    4) Can I afford to lose $500? Because not one person I talked to had actually gotten their money back.
In summary, the gym itself and the trainers are great but Jon and his business is extremely sketchy, as you could probably guess from his marketing. Ask for the complete pricing and facts, even though you likely won't get them.He has a shady answer for everything so don't let him sucker you into anything! Learn from my $500 review :)
